{Dialogue} 이름이 뭐예요? - What is your name?

Q.이름이 뭐예요(Ileum-i mwoyeyo)? - What is your name?

To ask someone for their name in a more polite manner or in more formal settings such as at work, instead of saying "이름이 뭐예요(Ileum-i mwoyeyo)?" say "성함이 어떻게 되세요(Seongham-i eotteohge doeseyo)?"
[1] A:이름이 뭐예요(Ileum-i mwoyeyo)? - What's your name?
(Jeoneun gim-yeongsuyeyo) - I'm Kim Yeongsu.
(Seongham-i eotteohge doeseyo)? - May I ask your name?
(Jeoneun bag-yeongsug-ieyo) - My name is Park Yeongsuk.
A.저는 ________(이)라고 합니다.(Jeoneun ________(i)lago habnida) - My name is (name).
A more polite way to introduce oneself than "저는(name)이에요/예요(jeoneun(name)ieyo/yeyo)" is to say "저는 name(이)라고 합니다(Jeoneun name(i)lago habnida)". If the name ends in a consonant, then "저는_____이라고 합니다(jeoneun_____ilago habnida)" If the name ends in a vowel, the "저는 _____라고 합니다(jeoneun _____lago habnida)"
(Jeoneun wanglilago habnida) - My name is Wangli.
(Jeoneun bag-yeongsug-ilago habnida) - My name is Park Yeongsuk.
