{Grammar}____고 있다 be -ing

To express that an action or the result of an action is continuous, add '-고 있다' to the end of the verb stem.

나는 바나나를 먹고 있다. (I'm eating a banana.)

먹다(Eat): 먹다+고 있다 -> 먹고 있다 (Be eating)

Example>
철수 씨는 까만색 구두를 신고 있어요.( Cheolsu is wearing black shoes.)
신다(Wear): 신다+고 있다->신고 있다(Be wearing)
영희씨는 TV를 보고 있어요. (Yeonghui is watching on TV.)
보다(Watch):보다+고 있다->보고 있다(Be watching)
